Went out yesterday.

Took a trip out to the hills above Salinas - thought the break in weather would bring out the hogs.

We only saw one pig for a second - no shot, didn't see or hear anything else the rest of the afternoon into the evening.

I think they're still holding up in the thick stuff. It's been snowing like the dickens all morning here at 1800 feet.

Thanks for the report, Rancho Loco. I was wondering what conditions were like now. I sometimes hunt in the hills just south of Salinas on the west side of valley.

Boy oh boy, its gonna be fun on the ranch. Slippin and Sliding, you boys be carefull out there. Dont forget the shovels and straps.....Good luck..
