I am on the independence unit right now we were on the northern end and a guy stoped buy and asked us if we were elk hunting he said he saw a giant 8x8 in the hay fields on the west side of 395 across from Tinemaha lake.

Just drove by your guys unit there were two bulls going at it just 300 yards off 395 on that lava hill
