KIRKSVILLE, Mo. — Fishing is a great way for kids and families to have fun outdoors, discover nature, and make happy memories together. The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) invites families to a day of fishing on Saturday, May 31, at 1 p.m. on Forest Lake, located in Thousand Hills State Park in Kirksville. A morning clinic will begin at 10 a.m. and cover basic fishing skills. There is no cost for the program.
