Wow, that sucks! It's crazy to think they'd get themselves into that kind of position...looks more like goat country.

The dark side of mother nature at work.....for every animal we're exposed to that succumbs to such nasty fates, there are thousands of more that occur unseen. I almost think it's a waste of tax-payers dollars to attempt such rescues when the same amount of resources it takes to pull off such "rescues" could probably save 10s if not 100s more @ winter feed lots during harsh winters.

Kinda on the same point as wmidbrook. But I would like to see the $ used for habitat restoration and acquisition.
