What are the best electric bikes?

My wife has this wild idea that if we get electric bikes and use them, we’ll somehow be reborn into our younger selves. Honestly… maybe she’s onto something?
Anyway, does anyone have opinions on the best electric bike models out there? I’ve read a ton of reviews, but I’d really like to hear from people here whose opinions I trust a bit more.

Oh man I'm totally with you, the reviews out there are hard to believe and unbiased opinions are truly hard to find. for this reason I have yet to pull the trigger on a purchase of one.
