I'm having a bit of a problem finding hog sign right now. No tracks, no rooted up areas, no nothing. So, I thought I'd ask what :pig-laughing: is eating at this time of year to kind of get an idea where he can be found.

Asking for HELP from those who know.

Last time I hunted in June the pigs I saw were just eating the grass and the oat seeds off the ends of the wild oats. Never did see any rooting that hunt either.

The ground is dried out so you won't see any meaningful rooting activity. The hogs are primarily eating wild hay, but that is almost all dropped now. They'll eat mustard and hemlock as well as any residual green grasses.

Hope that helps.
