What filler for caldwell bags?

Just got the (rock deluxe) shooting rest with the front and rear bags, they are sending me them empty is there some type of filler for the bags that is better than any other, or is just plain old sand good enough?

I use sand works great for me.

I actually use a fine grain cat litter. Works just as good in my opinion. Have not had any problems with it. It smells purty too. LOL

You can use your old corn cob cleaning media if you reload, works great for me.
