Win. 94, .30-30 equipped with a peep sight with no insert in the aperture. With Hornady Leverevolution & a good day, I can put 3 in 1". Av. velocity is 2260 ft./sec. I think the guy beside me at the range was just as surprised as I was.:smiley_yahoo:

Time to update:

1. Original (1889) 1886 Winchester in 45-70
2. Reproduction 1873 in .45 Colt
3. Reproduction 1892 in .44-40
4. Reproduction 1866 Yellowboy in .38 spl (my wife's)

5. Reproduction 1874 Sharps in 45-70 (yes, they technically are lever guns)
6. Savage 99 in .300 Savage (wife's)

Got my eye on a beautiful restored (original) 1895 in 30-06 and looking for a 71.
Now includes:

Marlin CB in 39 spl (wife)
Model 1885 (like a Sharp's, it's technically a lever) in 405 Win
Winchester 1886 (new issue) in 45-90
Win 1895 in 30-40 krag
Win 94 (1906) in 32 Spl
Henry .22
2 Repro 1873 45 (border rifle & rifle)
Marlin 94 in 44 mag
Browning 71 (deluxe) carbine in 348.
Marlin CB in 38-55

Handload for all but the .22.

The Marlin 44 and the Savage Model 99 are camping guns. Gonna restore the orig 1886 to a 20" carbine. Marlin cowboys and Uberti 73s are for Cowboy action. Browning 71 is an elk rifle (what else?)
