What will you be doing when your pushing 70?

I stopped at the local watering hole today and this ole boy sat next to me and we got to talking about deer hunting. I showed him a set of sheds I found last year , and he said hang tight , I'll be right back with some sheds I found in the last two years. So he ran over to his house and grabbed these sheds he found. Needless to say, I was speechless. Not all of these are matched sets, I just laid them out like that to get a pic.
I hope I'm still in good enough shape when I'm pushing 70 to be tramping around the countryside picking up sheds. The ole boy gave me the inspiration to go out this afternoon looking. Spent 4 hours and found nothing, now I got to pester him to let me in on his secret..

That's awesome! He's definitely spent enough time in deer country to know where they drop their sheds'....i'd spend some time with that fella and pick his brain....no-one know's them best then the people that have beenn watching them for years

Yup Brettski -these are all NY bucks. Most of em found in Chenango Co but a couple in Broome.
He said about half of them come from an area no bigger than a football field. He found sheds there two years in a row now.
Well I'm headed out now to try for some before the snow hits. Supposed to get another 6 to 8 tonight.

I don`t hunt sheds but found this skull while turkey hunting about three weeks ago. I`m not pushing 70 anymore. I have been dragging it behind me for the last four years.[attachment=42073:attachment]
