I have a blind already setup. Here is a couple of weeks of "film" on a new pig trail I recently put a game cam on. By watching the video, what would you do? What day and what time would you get there? And what pig would you want? It is very close, the shot would be maybe 15 yards. There are no second shots.......

I would be in the blind by 2 pm and sit til dark. I would imagine as it gets warmer, the later they will be coming out.

You got your pig, but I would buy an second tag and take a couple of those piglets off of MaMas Hands.
I would sleep in have a great bacon and eggs breakfast, shower, brush and be out there by 11am to noon.
get very comfy and quiet figure between 2 and 5pm to take your piglets

Same here. No point in getting up early in the morning for that hunt. Noon will give you some quiet time in case the 2 pm crowd comes strolling by.

Definitely get in there by noon.

Being careful not to cross that pig trail with your footsteps near where you will be sitting. Cross it somewhere downwind of there and then work your way back in sideways over to the netting.

Looks like good positioning for the wind from looking at the way the vegetation was blowing in the video!

Sneaky Pigs....

So I hit the blind on Friday around 2 pm and stayed till 7:40 pm, dead, nothing.. I had pulled my game cam off this pig tail last week and put it on another pig trail pretty close to where this one was. I looked at those pictures and it showed this little family uses at least two pig trails into our property....This pig trail has other pigs using it so I am going back on Sunday to this trail.......

Have u thought about using a drone to scout and hunt with when u r on your quad. Find a spot and send the drone out for recon then ambush those suckers. It would be way better then playing the guessing game with game cams. My friend just picked up a real nice one for about $400.00. Man it gets up and goes the camera and control monitor is sweet. No matter what happens, if it gets low battery or side tracked the drone has built in gps an will automatically comeback and land exactly where it took of from, it was cool and I was impressed......tra

The woods are to thick for a drone, and I would not use one. I like sitting out in the woods, better than in front of a TV. I like the challenge of hunting pigs, I learn something every time I go out.

I hear ya cam, just a thought, I feel the same way u do. To me it's like fishing a lake without a fish finder instead of using a fish finder, I rather do it the challenging way to find them without a fish finder, I like the guessing game!....tra

Yes, it really is. I was sitting on my dove stool in front of latest pig trail. I look to my left, there is a pig coming right at me. I get down behind some brush and he takes off and a coyote trots by going the other direction....I came up with a new plan on sitting. I will go by the pig trail early in the day and throw some corn out, then come back around 5 pm if the corn is still there I will wait until dark. Here is where I was sitting on Sunday.
