Moving to Powell Butte next week so am looking forward to elk and mule deer hunting both with long gun and bow. Kind of gave up on waterfowl, but may get back into it. Since I'll be new to the area, will have to put my dues in to get an idea of what's what and where. Been hunting blacktail, mulies, wild pig for the past twenty years and looking forward to decent hunts in Oregon.

I'm just over in Redmond. Don't give up on waterfowl completely, though there isn't a who;e lot of access locally, there can be some great hunting if you want to drive a piece.
