Schmalts,

Do not know if you are a resident or nonresident, but you have a very good chance of drawing. Good luck and be sure to let us know how you do.

As for myself, I'm not going to be able to do much hunting out of state this coming up year so I just put in for points for Elk (8) and Deer (2). I did put in for the sheep hunt though with those odds, I figured what the heck. If things start looking up this summer here at work, I will put in for a cow tag for Nov. or Dec.

Good luck to everybody this year!

no i dont, saw a similar post on a different site and some guy with 11 points killed my odds. so much for the bonus tag going my way. so now my odds will be less than 1in35

That's to bad, you read about a guy that has more points than you apply for the same tag that you just applied for, you must be going for the non-resident tags.

I do find it interesting that a guy with 11 points is putting in for that archery tag? With that many points you could draw the any weapon tag. My guess would be that he must be a archer and not rifle hunter.

Well good luck anyway you might get lucky and draw the other tag.
