The only thing I know about is a canned hunt I think the best is north of santa barbra and depends if its bow or gun I hunt choppers with bow in hollester central calif. Look at post about choppers on this forum. And welcome to JHO this place is addicting at times. We have a group hunt next mounth at choppers with bow only with one spot open.
There are no real huntable numbers of "wild pigs" on public property in the southern CA area. Every once in a while someone gets one in a quazi legal place and the rumors get out.
The closest "reliable" pay area to southern CA is the Tejon Ranch. Do a search on this site and you will find lots of recommendations and condemnations... Choppers gets lots of good reviews but, the outfitter in Santa Barbara has gotten some bad press here.
I heard there were pigs in the Santa Ana river drainage in Riverside but you can't hunt there because it is a county park, I think. I have also heard that a few pigs were taken off of private property in SB, but that was a while ago. I think there were some posts on this subject a while back...try a search
