B-Zone for sure. Now where is Nirvana--didn't the lead singer blow himself away a while ago?? LOL

Maybe X3B or like my die-hard buddy said, "G-3 or bust".

For myself, mmmm 94% success rate in A-zone... I guess I'll go back to the abyss of poison oak.

Thats funny. Think I'll try and score a hog over memorial day and do some scouting. They keep sending me 5 tags, one these days I'm gonna have to pull the trigger. Just never seem to be in the right place at the right time. Much better with the blacktail, and axis.

Heading to the mountains this year...A north archery hunt=
HOT! If gas prices would be more decent I would get an AO tag and check different areas, but with +$4/gallon, I will concentrating in one area only instead...

Probably gonna throw my lot in the G-3 pool, just to screw up the odds a little more for everyone else

But then I'll hunt A and B. No out of state hunts planned this year, although who knows? I'm sure getting the elk jones.

If my 4 measely points don't pay off, it will be an A tag and then another A tag or a B tag if I don't need two in A zone this year.

A zone archery for sure after my partner found P&Y sheds at the ranch. Huge 4x4 with dual eyegaurds on each side, plus a drop tine.
If it'll just rain/drizzle a tad, just once
Oh, and g37/g3

I am putting in for X7a, X7b and then D3-5.

My daughter is putting in for the either sex apprentice hunts for D3-5, X7a and X7b.

This is her last year for the junior hunts. She turns 16 next year and will have to compete with the rest of us.

The DFG and misc service organizations have done a heck of a job for the junior hunters. My daughter has gotten so many opportunities to harvest game with all the junior duck hunts, pheasant hunts and deer hunts. She still hasn't drawn any junior pig hunts but she is going to keep trying. My hat is off to them for their efforts.

FT, I was wondering where you were at. Good to see you posting again.

As for me D3-5 because it's close. And G1 because with a little weather the hunting is really good.[attachment=51519:2007_110...1TWA0012.JPG]
The deer might not be the biggest but there are plenty of them.

I've given up on G3.
I like the A Zone. But it gets too damn hot.
I'll buy points across the board and maybe call it a year.
But then again there is hope of a Sheep Tag.
You get lots of time to pull that one off down here.

I'm like Speck. I got the Elk bug big time.

Been around, just a bad winter.

Got divorced and all that goes with that little prize.

Back on top of life and moving on with a smile.

Headed off to thwack some hogs in June and into my ole A zone standby in July........then Maybe A17 even though I said I was done with that zone.

Its nice to know somebody missed me
