I'm on the prowl for a decent quality, relatively small, waterproof P/S camera for hunting and canoe/kayak trips with the fam. AA batteries are nearly a must-have, but I'll consider your recommendations.

I've searched waterproof and camera many times, and I'm overwhelmed at the options. Jesse, I think you have a GoPro; do you like it? Would you recommend it? Who else can chime in? What do you have and what do you like?

My son loves his gopro. The only problem I see with it is range. You have to be pretty close to get any quality.

It has no real zoom but the quality is good. At $300 not for hunting but its great for extreme sports.
