This shot of a sparrow is wht I beleive to be my best birdshot to date. I have been shooting birds since I first got my camera and at that time it was suggested to me to get a bird feeder and just start taking shots. ihave done so, and I beleive this is my personal reward to date. I hope you like it.

Paul, thank you, and you could have with yours also. I am finding that (and alot of coaching) it s alot to do with the glass (Most bird photos with lots of detail were taken with fast glass and above 400mm), the sensor, the amount of mega pixels which doesnt allow for much cropping to get fine detail but this can be overcome with the Z740 by getting close, and having the right lighting. And in my coaching I was told this, "Remember it's the photographer that makes the photograph and not the camera".
Thanks again!

There is a guy on FM who has posted some images he took with a Nokia camera/phone and some kind of lens combination which will take me forever to get anywhere close to duplicating.

And so I imagine that is why we keep trudging on in attempting to conquor "The Camera", and all the elements that may rise and fight against us, for one day we will become a "Photographer".

Holy crap, did I just say that...LOL...
