I was hiking along a trail today with the Admiral and wecame across these strange droppings. The largest piece is about 5 inches long. I want to know from you scatological experts whose dropping are these. LtDan and anyone else who knows where I am is excluded from answering. The winner (closest) gets two pair of feather ear rings.

No, it is not a bear that is stocking up on grass though that is reasonable. I liked WBs answer but I'm pretty sure he wasn't in front of us.
This is taken outside of North America and in fact, South of the Equator. You can take as many tries as you like and if no one gets close in the next day or so, I’ll give another hint to make it easier.
