I woke up to 16 inches of the white crap in the driveway. I enjoy snow and winter in upstate but this is getting *%$#^#! Ridiculous.

I walked out to fire up the truck and there was a robin all puffed up sitting in my crabapple. I ran inside but by the time I came back out the sun had disappeared and just as I was getting into position he decides to leave. Then while I was out and about there were a ton of wood cocks all over the road. I could have pulled up along side one and had some great shots. Apparently when there is a foot and a half of snow they don’t mind a diesel idling 5 ft away. There were several other things but I didn’t bother to take my camera with me.

I don’t like taking my camera when I’m going into the city; I get paranoid that it won’t be there when I come out of a store.

DITTO!!! At the beginning of winter I kept wondering when the snow was going to get here, and I wonder if it will ever go away. I've had enough!

Bad weather always seems to bring the birds out, and unfortunately it makes it hard to shoot them.
