hunter is saying they are down and it is not because of trapping. I am lucky if I see one a year on the 400 Acres I hunt. I have talked to the ranches around this property and they are not seeing pigs either. Anyone know what's going on.

Beats me, that place is normally loaded with hogs. I use to take a nice drive when I was bored, and would see hogs off the road. Lions can't be hurting the population that bad.

I heard some paid trappers were hired to trap pigs off the Henry Coe Park and St. Joseph Park. St. Joseph Park used to be loaded with pigs but looks like the numbers have declined since last year. Not as much pigs signs were found when I hiked the park. My guess is the trapping.
