Ok... So this is a wonderful thing just dont know were to take her. I am thinking a cow hunt. I would love any info on outfiters you can think of. Unfortionalty the last time i went the guy is no longer open. the only real thing is i would like it to be a one day drive ie nv or nm. ok so what do you have...

How about Oregon? There are a ton of Roosevelts and getting a cow on public land shouldn't be much of a problem.

cow rifle hunt? there is one GREAT option. mescalero indian reservation in ruidoso nm. it is an independent draw, so you better hop on it. i bet the deadline is getting close.

it is the:
Inn of the Mountian gods resort's elk hunting program. last time i checked, a cow was $500. they dont do archery, so i bailed.

the place is a resort, casino..etc. nearby town is a nice ski town with the typicall vibes..i love it.

thanks for the responsis. it dosnt have to be a guided hunt i have taken elk and would be doing most of the work. She has never looked at an animal in a scope so i just want to give her the oppertunity. But she is like me and the time spent in the field is what maters to us both.
