I was fortunate enough to make it back down to hunt with fellow JHO member kcravnit at the Tejon ranch this past spring (2016).

It took me long enough but finally wrapped up the film I put together of that trip.

Looks like a great trip. Do you do all that film work yourself? I have some land that maybe of interest to do the same kind of thing on or over. It must be real cool to drone the hills and find the best way in and out of a area.

Congrats to yall. Way to get the young guy out there. I'm sure he will be itching to get back out there soon.

it was a blast. Yes I do all the camera and editing myself. I really enjoy film and the process. It does take time though. Where is your property?

D10 Tehachapi. The land is step. I call it Billygoat hill. Only a very few of my friends know of this spot. im thinking of using a drone to judge the best access and over view of the land. What is the range like on those things. How far can we go and how much can we see? Like if we are at a house.... How many yards away in each direction can we see from strait above and also how far away can we do the same thing? Maybe I'm wrong, to think this is the way, but I'm wanting to see all the land and that's hard to do out in the wild.

Hunting season is upon us, so the camera is rolling. Hopefully i'll have a a buck or 2 this fall to share with you guys.

sounds good. I will be hitting my d-10 spot. Plan on taking a few different animals out of there before years out. Some of the best land in California. Best of luck to you my friend. Where are you headed no out too?
