Outrageous crude oil prices have driven our economy down and are causing food shortages all over the world. In his speech this
morning the President punched the culprits right in their politics driven noses..
He has introduced and signed many bills aimed at preventing just this situation. Bills tha would increase domestic drilling & production, build new refineries and prevent excess taxes from being passed on to we, the consumers..
All of these measures have been shot down and thrown right back at him by the Democrat controlled Congress.
How many must starve worldwide, how many American families will have accept food stamps for the first time..and how many
businesses will have to go broke before the Democrats will think they have hurt our encomy bad enough so they can be elected ?

If you have a Democrat congressman or Senator, make sure to write him/her and tell them you are wise to their "break the economy"
tactics. If you have a Republiucan representative that is helping in this destructive activity, tell trhem the same..and tell all of them
you will campaign AGAINST them next time , if they persisit..

Some politicians are so corrupt, they will put thousands on unemployment, and destroy a thousand businesses, just be able to keep
their single, ego boosting job !

Despite any of my criticism of GWB, he is not the one holding back development or exploration of our oil resources.
It has been a decades long love fest between the liberal legislators and the environmental elitists that is holding our nation hostage and feeding the continued environmental crisis state of fear that prevents any logical solutions that rescue us from this energy problem.
Out here in CA there has not been a new nuclear power plant, hydro electric plant, oil refinery, wind generator or solar power plant built in years, because of these elitist environmentalists.
The house and senate have had decades to solve these problems now facing us in a "crisis mode" yet they still can't get it done...

In addition to the troubles in CA, the enviro groups are sueing to stop electric power grid upgrades. So, even if the utilities find a way to make more power (to support the increasing population), they won't be able to get it to the communities.

The list of stupidity is endless.
If we are to take back our economy and solve this "energy crisis" we had better get started. Our elected "public servants" hold all the keys to solving or continuing this insanity...
Every day in the news there is at least one article decrying all the irreversible harm we are doing to the environment and how big business is raping us as taxpayers and many politicians are the contributors of these very articles... Yet there is not one answer or proposition being made by any of them that is realistic or that can be accomplished in our own lifetimes.
Right now charles squirmer is crying about "obscene profits of oil companies" and he is just one of many libs who want the taking of tax breaks away from them, yet the federal government profitted billions in taxes on this oil profit last year. People like squirmer and the rest of the liberal whiners are just wasting time and our tax dollars...

It has less to do with the two parties and more to do with stupidity and greed. Our legislature, all of them are the ones soley responsible for this mess...

Not bnecessarily Dems and Reps..it is much more about states of mind;

Liberal vs Conservative

Realist vs dreamers

Godly vs unGodly

Limited government vs unlimited government

Wise stewardship vs enviro-whackos

Freedom lovers vs control freaks

Hard working vs barely or non working

Capitalism vs Socialism

Generalities of course.. but fairly constant, all the same.
