Ok folks, official post for our next group hunt with George Mavrakis of Wild Pig Hunting Guide Service. Details below, message me if interested.

This is a spot and stalk hunt, not guided. More of a semi guided

Cooley Ranch in Sonoma county

January 9-11, Friday mid day till either mid day Sunday or all day Sunday, leaving Sunday night or Monday morning. Cost is $450 for 2 days (leaving mid day Sunday) or $575 for 2 1/2 days.

We need 10 hunters in order to get this price.

Hunt is for Boars only, shoot a sow and it’s an additional $200.

Half deposit is required to secure the spot. Deposits are Non refundable and non transferable. Once we get the 10 guys, then I will reach out and deposits will be required.

We camp on the property, trailers are allowed.

Nobody is allowed to drive the ranch, you will be taken to the hunt area by them and picked up at a designated time or you can stay out all day if you wish. Vehicles stay in camp.

I’m allowed to drive the ranch and usually take 2-3 people with me.

I’ve been doing this group hunt for almost 25 years.

Good idea, cause these hills are no joke in some areas

Is there an overall limit on boars or just the additional charge for sows?

$200 for shooting a sow. Hunt is for 1 pig, you can shoot a second one for I think $350
