I spoke with George this morning, he's willing to give us a group rate. If we can get 10 guys, we would show up on Friday after noon and hunt Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday morning. If that doesn't work for anyone, and they think they can't make it up until later Friday, then we can hunt starting Saturday on through Sunday and leave Monday morning if needed. We can camp on the property, or you can hotel it in Healdsburg.

This would be the spot and stalk hunt, the price $400! and we would have the entire 22,000 acres to ourselves.

He's really up in the air about anyone taking quads, he's still speaking with his insurance guy to see what the liabilities would be. He would take people out in his Rino's. I may be able to talk him into letting me carry some people in my Tahoe since I know all the ranch.

Anyhow, the first open weekend he has is 4/5 and 4/6, let me start it off.

In the other thread everyone said it was 300 a person for spot and stalk. Now it's 400? Don't get me wrong, it's still a great price, but which is it?

I believe 300 is the price for ONE day hunting. This is 400 for the whole weekend?

I'm going to say that I am in, however I will have to let you know about the money say 30 days out? By then I will have a good idea if I can afford it or not. I should be able to, but I want to go to Tejon as well. Is the last week of February OK to let you know a for sure yes or no? Thanks for the idea and for doing the work!!!!!!

I might be interested, what's the price for a second pig. Can we decide whether we want to take a second while we are there, or does he need the extra money up front? Not saying I'll even get one but it would suck to have to pay for two up front and then get skunked.

This Ranch is the one that borders the north end of Lake Sonoma. The area is loaded with hogs.

I'd be interested as well, need to know the fine details....cost for 2nd hog if lucky or unlucky if wound one, housing? any bunkhouse or are we tenting it? How accesable are those 22,000 acres, can we drive our truck out to an area on ranch roads and then hunt on foot. Need to know bow or rifle? or both?

Ok, here's some update to this hunt. April 4th & 5th are now NOT available. He's open on 4/11 & 4/12, he's going to hold this date for us for about a week, can't hold it any longer then that.

If that dates doesn't work for those i'm putting in for the hunt, the let me know.

Archery hunters will pay the same price, but be separated from the rifle hunters.

Property boarders Lake Sonoma.

2nd pig is $300, and can be paid when you get there.

Deposit, he would like to have 50% of the hunt. As soon the list is filled, I'll email everyone with the information needed.

Once the list is filled, we take care of the deposits. George did say to make sure this weekend can work for you, if we have anyone bail out it could ruin the price. The $400 is for 10 guys.

If we can get this hunt filled with in a week, we get this rolling and the deposits can be sen to me, NOT MADE OUT to me, and I'll take care of everything. I don't want to hold on to people's deposits waiting for the hunt to fill up.

I just want to do anything until the hunt is filled.
