Wilderness Unlimited Thread Blocked?

I searched these forums and found a thread on Wilderness Unlimited from 2002 which I'd like to read.

The thread dates from 2002, and has many replies. When I try to open the thread, however, I get an error message (in Netscape 7) which reads: "Redirection limit for this URL exceeded. Unable to open..." or something like that.

I don't believe this problem is on my end.

If it was the thread named "Wilderness Unlimited, Real hunting and good success" it got messed up when we did the software conversion back in Aug 2002. When we converted some threads were erased and you'll just get a page with no posts when you click on them. This didn't happen to many threads but it appears it's one you wanted. If you find anymore of these empty threads please let a mod or me know so we can delete them so people don't waste their time trying to view them.

FYI, the thread had the same info as the many other WU threads. This topic has been hashed out here and on Hoss' old forum many times. Some like, many hate it.

One thing to keep in mind is one of WU's members/recuiters was busted on Hoss' old forum for spamming. He would post asking about WU and then answer his own post with glowing recommendations. I'm sure that person or persons are still with us here since this would be a great place to recruit new members. We never did find out who the person was by the way so I have no clue who it may be.

I am a former member of WU and was one of there 1st 100 members back in 1986. I was very satisfied with there operation and quality of hunting ranches. I quit because I ran dogs ( Catahoulas) for several years and got my own leases and connections. It is a very family oriented and like every thing else you got to use it a lot. If you hunt ducks, quail, deer, boar, birds, fish. camp, you will get your moneys worth. It is also a good if you can get time off of work during the week. Thursday is the best day of the week to hunt. Now, I still know the owners well and some current members. Yes there may be some unhappy people and maybe this club isnt for everyone. Now I have also heard and know people that are very unhappy with Golden Ram. Too many hunters on ranches, owners getting first crack at bear properties with dogs, etc. I would join again if I didnt have my own connections or just for the sake of taking my kids on safe private,patrolled ranches.
