These are some pics of wildlife that I took on our ranch, with the exceptionof the hawk babies and the antelope.[attachment=29667:attachment]
These are migrating antelope.

There were about 16 sandhill crane in this bunch in our field.

I was out shooting ground squirrels when this hawk showed up. He ate about 3 squirrels while I was there and left about 6! He knows the sound of the dinner bell.

I watch these little red tail hawk babies everyday to and from work. They are about 3 week old. Their nest is in a tree near the highway.

nice pics ranchwife. It appears that you have a good variety of wildlife subjects to photograph.

What are you growing in the circles?

The Griz - We have about 500 acres of orchard grass under 3 pivots and about 180 acres of triticale/peas under the 4th pivot. We also have dryland rye and natural meadows that we harvest.

Here is a long shot. Is that up by Alturas or Tule lake?

The shot of the Sandhill cranes reminded me of a feild outside of Tule lake. We always see antelope in a feild just like that one.
