I was thinking of buying a Wind River 15-45x60 spotting scope and was wondering if anyone has any opinions on these. I currently have a Winchester in the same size and would like to compare them. I cannot find a store around here that carries the Wind River to look through.

I just sold mine. ok scope for the money i thought until I looked through a Kowa scope. Mine was great 15x -25x but after that it got fuzzy and dark. The Kowais a little more cheese ($) but Its definitly worth it.

I have the Wind River 15-45X spotting scope. I've been pretty happy with it. So far I've only used it at 100 yds. I'm not sure the 45X is going to be good enough to see .22 cal holes at 200 yds.

I shoot on a public range that furnishes Simmons spotting scopes at selected locations. Having my own spotting scope at my shooting bench lets me put more rounds downrange in less time.
