I doupt it. The Marine Corps has started using it and Ft Irwine as 29 Palms is booked solid a year out. When a untit gets a surprise deployment we use the Army's facilities as they are far larger, better equiped and usually have better facilities. I have seen more Marines and Seabee's at FHL than Soldiers training when I am hunting. Hell I ran into some one I knew out there last time had a special recon mission to deliver a couple cases of PBR for his boys ROFL :)

No, they won't open up more areas. As a matter of fact when the Afgan War is over the training will ramp up not down. Just think everybody’s back they have to do something and that's not sitting around, its clean barracks, clean weapons, and train, train, train, train. I trained at the then Camp Hunter Leggett from 1974 to 1977 and if you want know anything else about the fort I might be able to help.
