ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

This morning at 4:30am I am awoken by the sound of someone trying to get into my garage. I go out and find Shane with a flashlight trying to get in and recover his gear. He wants to get in a hunt before work. I can't say no so I open the door let him in then I go back to bed.

7:30 he calls Arrowed one, he's down and cleaned I'll be in around 9:00. Gotta go home and shower.

By the time I get around to hunting this spot the only thing moving will be the bugs!


TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY, i LOG ONTO MY lAPTOP AND END UP ON HIS MEMBER LOGIN.

hey guys shane here, yep thats right 3rd down in 2 weeks. i just couldnt resist headin up to my spot this mornin{since its only 11 min. from my front door to the gate}. headed up to my usual spot at about 4:45. as i made my way to the top of the hill i just had a good feeling.im stickin 1 today. as i reach the top mmmmm, i can smell'em , then i see'em, way to many to count! at this point the heard is about 100 yrds away. with nothing to hide behind i slip my pack off and begin the stalk. belly crawlin, stop,crawl some more,stop. i finally made it to my only cover on the whole hill, a little group of rocks that i can just hide behind. range= 87 yrds i sit back and watch to see if i could figure uot where they were going,next thing i know there is a little 60#er or so coming my way,range=54yrds. i decide that he is the chosen 1 for today. i draw from my knees pick a spot and let 1 fly, squeeeeeeeeelllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! taged him! i couldnt tell excactly where i hit him but i knew i hit him. the rest of the hogs made there way down the backside of the hill. i see the 1 i shot straglin tryin to keep up with the rest. then i see it god damnit f&*king gut shot. his guts were hangin out . then he just stops and lays down 50 yrds from me. as soon as i star making my way to him he is off like lightning. so i decide to give him a few min. and i make my way up to the top to get my pack & knife. i get to where he was laying befor and get on the blood. @ this point im glad he was small cause thats a hell of a hike by yourself with a big hog. well im on blood a good 100-150 yrds when i spot him in the poisin oak 10 ft from me. i sat for a bit to go thruogh my options and about 10 min later decided it was time to end this now! ill be damned if i loose another hog. so as he sat with his ass facing me about 10 or so ft into the poisin oak, i begin another stalk. i climb in the brush as slowly as i can grabed him by the tale then the back legs and continued to drag him out of the bushes, i tell ya what he wasn't to happy. i swung him around to where i could get i position then pinned him down and went to town on him. had him dressed, skinned and into work by 10. what a day!!!!!!!!!!!! oh wait its not over yet. im gonna see if i cant put o'fer on some hogs this evening. mabey he will hit 1 tonight. soory no pics of this 1.

hey cecil, dunno what he's tellin ya, but every time i go huntin or fishin he is the first 1 i invite. i swear im gonna have to drag him out the house real soon. there is no 1 that id rather be out there with than him.

You are no longer allowed to go hunting unless you take a camera (use O'fer as your camera guy).

ok, ok , your right i do need to make sure the camera is in the pack at all times. and as for using o'fer as a cameraman i think he is a little disgruntled about being 0/7 under 25 yrds i think its starten to get to him,

and i had a buddy of mine film one night but he kept walkin right in front of me. so that was that.

If I don't see a 360 cu yds of concrete placed before 1:00pm today the only bbq woodpusher will be attending is the one thats on the end of my #9. Me and him gonna have to take a trip to see the doctor to get it removed. His collars gonna be so tight he's gonna have to unbutton his shirt to take a leak.
