Some advise please. I harvested a 4 pointer last weekend in A zone near pozo. My bucher called me to witness what she found. DUDE!! half inch white worms in the meat deep in the tissue. Has any dody seen those before? Unfortunately no pictures were taken and all the meat is frozen now. Please someone tell me you have seen them before and is safe to eat.

You sure it's not maggots or they just saying that so they can dispose of it properly

They could be nasal bots.

If they really are worms then its probably a muscle worm.

Did you cross section the liver for parasites that's where we looked for parasites first. One of the courses I took in college was Parasites of Domestic Animals because wild critters get the same parasites, could be trichina spiralis or ,bot fly larvae with either of those you can eat the meat if well cooked.I've killed game with bot fly larvae in their necks.

Just make sure you cook the meat thoroughly. It may gross some people out but, the beef, pork, and chicken you find at the grocery store are not 100% parasite free, they susceptible to the same types of parasites just as scr83jp pointed out.
