WOW!! What a start!!

Had some spare time while out working and decided to check out an area I'd been keeping an eye on.

Had to walk over a mile just to get to the spot but once i did, I started finding sheds right away. Within 3 hours I found myself dumbfounded and trying to figure out how to pack 23 antlers back to the truck with no backpack! I ended up taking off my hooded sweatshirt and filling it up! They were all old, nothing fresh, but some biggies!

I had to go back the next day.... and the day after, but this time with a backpack. Ended up finding 20 on the secon afternoon and 17 on the third.

My first shed hunts of the year with a total of 60 sheds in about nine hours of searching! Heres the pics!

That IS unbelievable! I spent close to 4 hours today shed hunting and found 0!

The bucks have lost their antlers according to my trailcam too.

Thats awesome. Sounds like an awesome start to the season. Not quite a record but an awesome day none the less. I think I may have to start skipping a bit of school so I can get out there and start finding a few before there all gone. I love the feeling when you start to get close to the point where you can no longer carry any more sheds. Only has happened to me once when I found 22 in 4 hours. I wish I could find a new spot that would produce a bunch of sheds like that although those spots are starting to get rare around here. I do know of a few spots but there a good 1 hour drive away.

Congratulations. That is some haul. Looks like mostly mulie antlersand no snow either.Might be looking for guide in 4 or 5 years when I retire. Sure would like to find 1 set of mule deer sheds. Looks great. Keep us posted.

Awesome-hey bud,I,ll tell ya' what I do,I take a nice piece of rope with me.Fits in my pocket and makes a nice tie-off to carry horns.....
I always have some around in my trk,(ha ha ha) like ducttape....
