WW Whacks a Hogasauras !!

Went down Rockavaca way last week with RHC and hunted them prehistoric grey ghosts of the desert southwest.

Ran into 2 on Friday with guns unloaded

, Then Saturday I went on a semi-crazed hog assualt. I was on top on the 2nd ridge I had climbed up and was glassing across a nice deep canyon. And what did I see on the other side? Hogasauras'

Well after a 600' straight down and then up the other side

I managed to get myself on a rock outcropping and fire a shot 150+yds across a ravine and hit this guy in the boileroom

What rifle did you use? It must feel good to get one after that long stalk over very hilly terrain

The rifle I used on this porker is an AR-15 A2 Gov. Model in .223cal or 5.56mm. It is a very flat shooter and moves extremely fast.

I hear ya. If there were not so many hot days in the summer and I could get a job there, I would be out of California so fast. I love the desert.

Nice looking hog. What do you do to tenderize the meat? My dad got a javelina and when he cooked it the meat was chewy, like gum.

It really is Ungodly HOTT

here , you really would not like it. California is much cooler and the ocean breeze sure is nice. But the liberals and the fruits and nuts are what has ruined that once GREAT state.

I was born and raised in So. Cal and when I went off to see the world in the USMC , once I ended up in Arizona it was home sweet home.

The way I have my Javelina done is made into Breakfast Sauasge!!
