WY Area 85 Private Land

WY Area 85 Private Land Access?

Anyone know of area 85 private landowners/ranches that may grant access between Dec. 1 and Jan. 31? I have an unused area 85 type 6 tag and can't make it up before Nov. 30th which is the end of the regular season.

I'm not familiar with Unit 85...looks like it's southwest of Jackson a bit? I hunted the general season this year near units 98/99...few years ago I hunt Area 95 in the Green River Lakes area...I went to the WY Fish and Game site and didn't see a ref to Area 85 Type 6 ref for the dates you mentioned...you may want to call Fish & Game...(307) 777-4600 phone

Yes, it's southwest of Jackson. I already called Fish and Game. They were friendly as always, but of no practical help with info on ranches or private land. I called in Cheyenne, they said that the people in Jackson should have a "list." I called Fish and Game in Jackson and they said that there is no list and that they didn't have any info. I'm done.

another place to call is the local big game processor in Jackson...I just had my elk processed there: 307-732-0496...they may know of someone/something
