Good News - I got drawn for an area 6 anterless tag (along with a doe antelope tag for area 104)

Bad News - The Parker Gulch HMA we had planned to do a combo on is no longer in the HMA program and there aren't any other public access areas in the unit.

Does any one know of any landowners in elk unit 6 who offer access for a late season cow hunt for a reasonable tresspass fee? We are trying to salvage the elk/antelope hunt we had planned for this year.

A few suggestions:
a) Parker Gulch may still let people tresspass for a nominal fee...get in touch with them
b) Get the landowner lists from the regional office
c) Call the chamber of commerce
I wouldn't pay more than $200 for access...there are a lot of "old school" types in wyo that let you hunt for far less than $200 on their lands

wmidbrook,

Thanks for the suggestion of contacting the Chamber of Commerce, I hadn't thought of that. I've got the landowner contact list from the Laramie regional office, but the ranches included on it are only for antelope. I've got the contact info for the ranch that made up the HMA, but so far no luck in getting in touch with anyone to discuss other options to get access.
