Hello everyone. I am new to this cite but have been very impressed with everyones success and knowledge of shed hunting so far. I am just getting ready to start my shed hunting season here in Wyoming this weekend as I have noticed most of the bucks in my area drop their antlers this week, except for all the small 2x2's. Does anyone esle shed hunt in Wyoming besides me? Hopefully I will have some luck this weekend!

Well, went out this afternoon and officially started my shed hunting season. I got permision to look on a big ranch (56,000 acres) and hiked for about 2 hours until the sun went down. Found a nice little matching set of mulies in a bedding area under a ceader tree about 3 feet apart. It sure was nice to get out searching after the long winter of just watching deer. YoungHunnter, I am from SE Wyoming. Can't wait until tomorrow. Goodluck everyone.

Had a good first weekend of shed hunting. Found 7 total and 2 really nice 5 point mulies that were very fresh and showing no signs of weather yet. Measured one at 68" definently a good find!!! Still saw lots of deer with head gear and I know the snow is hiding some still. I will get some pictures up as soon as I can, as I have not yet gotten up with the times of digital cameras.

Congrats on the finds!

I am in SW WY and all the bucks I've seen lately still have their headgear, this time last year we were finding freshies, but they are holding on them longer this year for some reason.
