I've had a Yardage Pro Scout for about a year. (also a few other rangefinders). The Scout is small enough to be be carried in a shirt pocket, light weight, and it's relatively inexpensive. It's reliable to about 400 yards off of soft targets like bushes. The monocular is decent quality. The main thing I don't like about it is that when it's off it slowly consumes the battery. If it's put away for a month or so with a new battery installed it will be dead when it's used again. I sent mine back to the factory to have that corrected. They sent back what was apparently another unit but it does the same thing. Not a major problem if you just take the battery out when you put it away. The Yardage Pro 1000 doesn't have that problem nor do the Leicas.
dido on Boyd's comment. Works great. small and light. Use's batteries just sitting around so remove them when your not using it, which should be done with any electronic device that use's batteries anyway.
