I will be going to Texas for my yearly hog hunt on Jan 7th . This year I will be taking my 18 year old daughter. It will be her first hunt ever. She passed her hunters safty test and has been shooting very well at the range. We will be hunting hogs and javelina .

My oldest so, 22 doesn't like the outdoors. My youngest son, 3...is getting his second bow for Christmas. I like to hear other parents ecouraging their children to go outdoors, good luck on the hunt!

Me and my oldest son who is now 21 got into hunting ay the same tube around 2 years ago. My youngest who is 12 will be taking his hunter safety soon. He hates loud sounds so he'll be getting a bow. He already enjoys getting into the field with me.

Hopefully on Jan 7th I will have my 15 year old daughters successful pig hunt to post. She's been going hunting with me since she was 4. nothin better than having your kids with you I think. Since my sons 19 now and now my 15 year old daughter I havent shot anything in 7 years... fine by me.

My daught never wanted to hunt with me before . She would fish and shoot some but never cared about hunting. She liked to eat the things I killed but said she doesn't want to kill anything. Then in Aug she ask me if I would take her shooting and hunting. I told her we can go to the range any time but to hunt she had to get her hunters safty card. And if she gets good grades in school and spends her grant money wisely That I would take her to Texas on a hog hunt. She has done her part and now I will do mine. I hope to have some good pics when we get back.
She will be shooting my wifes Rem mod 7 in 7MM08. It's a nice little rifle that can get the job done.

Now to choose what rifle I will take. I have a Rem 700 in 30-06 and a Savage 11 in 7mm08. Both shoot very well and I was thinking the 06 but it might be cool if we both shoot the same cal.
