Youth Pheasant Hunt
The hunt will take place on Saturday, November 22, 2003 near Colusa, California. It is sponsored by the Colusa Indian Communities and will take place on rice and alfalfa fields. Juniors can take up to three pheasants.
There will be three pheasants planted with special tags. Juniors who take them will get a prize of $250 for each bird. If the birds are not taken, three raffles will be held for cash prizes of $250 each.
The hunt is for youth hunters 16 years old and younger. It will be limited to the first 30 juniors who sign up. The cost for the hunt is $25 per junior hunter.
