Does anybody out there own a pair of Zeiss 10x56 Victory FL's?How do you like them?Any problems?
I am picking a brand new pair up on a deal and was trying to decide on the 8x56 or the 10x56.Already have a pair of 10x40 leuo's.I know they are heavy, but the clarity was awesome.Going to be used in a high altitude drop camp along with a spotting scope.Any info would help before I give the call,thanks....Duk..

I have Swarovski 8x56 and you can see really good in the dark with these. I also have the doubler to make them a 16x56 spotting scope.

Thanks for the input Glasseye,I think I will pickup the doubler/tripler for them also.Hows the weight of those bino's?,I have a crooked horn strap on my 10x's and will put a set on these also. The weight is worth the clarity and viewing area is what i'm thinking...

The 8's would have given you maximum light gathering capabilities, 56 divided by 8 = 7 m.m. exit pupil, that is the same as the human eye pupil.
You'll need a tripod, I like the Manfrotto Bogen 3205GN3 with the 3265 head. They don't make the 3205GN3 model anymore so you'll have to look for it on ebay.
