Lucky Bastard!!! No luck there, you are king of the NW rain forests!! Good job Jody and thanks for the kind words. The kudos goes to you, your family and friends for hosting me on a great trip. I'll be back... armed with some more experience and hopefully that big bull tag. Congrats. Ed F

Bowtech Tribute, and i have two of them set up exactly the same. Luckily, since one of my buddies let his cam rub against my string in the pickup earlier this season and my bow exploded..That was neat!!!
Shuttle T's
axis 340's
413 grains of arrow going 286 fps
Great combo for this country and everywhere else i've hunted...

What a great looking bull! Are those antlers on Rosevelt elk always that dark? They almost look black. Very cool. Well you got your family X-mas card photo. Congrats

That would make a pretty darn good looking Christmas card photo for sure!!!! Congrats on a great bull, he is very cool looking. On the chainsaw wench does it have a certain length of cable to it and you just tie it off to a tree every so many feet until you are out? Sounds pretty cool and a great tool to have. Did you get the bull out whole?

Beautiful bull. I'm surprised you didn't need a winch mounted to a helicopter to get that monster out of the hole.

You can get them out whole easy with those winches..However, i caped him and took the front shoulder off then winched him to an old logging road that i could get my quad to...You can winch them about 100 ft at a time.. I guess more if you had more cable and a bigger spool...

Damn, how many elk kills has little Brook been on now? Is that like her fourth??? Damn she is more seasoned than alot of 30 year old hunters I know. In-fact, Kirk is standing over my shoulder right now, and just made the comment that Brook has seen more dead bulls than he has.
