Hate to say it, but this one was more work than fun. Got him the 1st day, but was pretty set up from hunting the muzz deer hunt in the same spot. Nexy canyon from where I got my buck earlier (Pic posted in deer sec about a month ago). Packing elk in the snow, digging my truck out, brutal winds....At least I'm smiling in the picture.

Nice bull. Years from now you will only remember taking the bull, not the other stuff. Congrats.

:beer toast: Gr8 bull DAWG!!!!!

you know when i look at my horns in the wood shed, the horns that put the biggest smile on my face are the ones i had to work the hardest for. One day, if it hasn't already come, you will look at those horns and smile. I guarantee it!

Dude, that's what it's all about! Makes the story you tell the grandkids on christmas as they stare at the mount on the fireplace that much better. Awesome bull. I'm jealous.

Nice Bull!

That's a nice animal, what part of Co. We hunted outside Meeker and had pretty much bluebird weather. I got a 6 X 5 opening a.m., but alot of guys were blanked.

Thanks. Just south of Gunnison. Low point draw area, I had two points going in to the draw. Guess two points for a six point bull is a good deal:) It was near 13,000 feet evevation, peaks near 14,000, maybe why I got worse weather.
