100 lbs on the hook...

Fattest, healthiest sow I've ever seen...And it wasn't the biggest we saw yesterday.
That went to the big daddies we saw strolling up the fence line across the canyon on the neighboring property at about 7 p.m. At first I thought they were cows.

Those guys were the one's we've been waiting for...But we settled on this fat sow instead.

Order at Freedom meat Locker = Swiss Sausage, Hot Cajun, Apple Breakfast links with 10% fat added....Ribs, and whole Tenders vaccum packed.

As for the hunt - it's really hard to call it that. We set up next to a pasture (private land) and wait for the pigs to come out of cover and go to water. We've been waiting out this big boar (prolly one of those on the hill) who's been strolling around, but I couldn't pass this sow up when it came by...

Like I said, this was the fattest, healthiest hog I've seen. I can't wait for the sausage.
