Not really a story me and my daughter (shes 2) were riding around on the golf cart looking at the snow and i noticed some pigs in the trap. went back to the house to drop her off grabbed the rifle and there were 3 pigs on ice.
top one was a boar that was right about 150#'s
the other two were about 100# sows
the baby was about 15 pounds and a buddy took her and put her in his trap to try and attract hogs to his place. (I didnt understand why he wanted them)
The last one i shot at 5.45 in the evening and it was dark. I cleaned her and she is on ice also.
Btw they were all shot with my .300 Rem Ultra Mag. with a 4.5-14x50mm B&C rectile VX-III The last one was at 180 yards standing in the pasture and i hit her right behind the ear. i cant show the picture of the other side.
Also i am shooting Barnes tripple shock bullets out of it. 180 grain solid copper hollow point. i wouldnt be afriad to shoot a cyotoe up to a cape buffalo with those bullets they really transfer the energy.
I have alot of pictures but they are too graphic to put on here so this is all you get.
