Good day everyone. Looking for anyone who has used a 150 grn. AccuBond for elk. Planning an elk hunt next year, the kids both have 7mm-08. According to Nosler, we can get them going 2800fps. Just wondering if anyone has used them. If so how did they preform. Hoping to keep shots under 300 yards. Thanks.

I don't but I've used them in other calibers and while they are very accurate, they tend to come apart which is not what you want on an elk. I would highly recommend using the Partitions instead.

Sorry, late to the party. That's a great bullet for that application. BC is superior to the partition and expansion and penetration are great. Illegal in CA. Barnes TTSX is great too, but they need more speed for optimal performance.
