17-15 bass at Lake Dixon

3/7/01 For the second week in a row, a monster bass has come out of this lake. This time, it was a new lake record that weighed 17-pounds, 15-ounces caught and released by Mike Iloski, Escondido, while fishing a swimbait at Pier 4. The old record was a 17-11, and last week a 16-6 was caught. The weather has kept most anglers away, but the bite has generally been good for both bass and rainbow trout.
