Although this is my 73 rd shed of the year, it's my first fresh one! Had to trudge through a lot of snow to get it but it was worth it!

Congrats!! It's hard to believe it's your first fresh shed of the year and you've found 73 total.Last year I found over 30 old sheds for the year and I thought that was alot.
Your almost at 100 already for the year, you looking to hit 200 when this years sheds start to show up?lol

btw-if you ever need help covering all your ground give me a holler.lol

I'm definitly luckky to be at 73 already. I live near Saskatoon and that's where I do most of my shed hunting. There is still tons of snow around here so the ones you'll find this time of year will be fresh.

I do a lot of work in rural areas in Saskatchewan and it just so happened that this winter I was spending a lot of time in SW Saskatchewan where there is very little snow right now and mulies are everywhere. I keyed in on areas where i'd been seeing mulies consistantly and tried to get permission (which believe it or not is hard down there!) knowing that there would be still some old ones lying around.

I did pretty well. I couldn't imagine how many sheds a guy could find down there in a season, if he/she knew the area good and could obtain permission. It would definitly be a shed hunter's dream!

Nice pics Predator 1. I'm going to try some new places this spring to see if I can find some old ones. And of course new ones to. Saskatchewan is about 3 to 4 times bigger than New Brunswick, about how many deer there.
