2 elk hunts. Now ?

Guess I'll be a busy boy come October, pulled a 16A 2nd rifle NM bull tag to go with my WY 63/64 type 1 elk tag. All work and no play...Poor me...Actually, I am poor as I pulled a NM muzzleloader ibex tag too...Damm

Thanks. I'm actually most stoked about the ibex. I have enough leave banked to do all three hunts right, and my baby just graduated from high school last night, so I'm free to have fun, other than help pay for college...

Still a few draws out, but I'm not in for anything easy to draw, other than my third choice A31 here.

My NM refund sucked. Got to complain about something

I feel for you DAWG! I wish Cali did their draw results sooner in the year. Waiting to see if we pulled two premium tags, if we did then I don't know how we are going to schedule it right in the middle of two elk tags and three buck tags here at home. It kind of becomes work when you refuse to soak up some tag soup!

Good luck, Superduty. You are going to need it to draw the only nonresident CA elk tag. I can't believe how stingy CA is to nonresidents for elk, especially considering how many CA residents hunt elk out of state...At least I have wrote letters, but didn't sound like DFG has any intention of trying to push for a more fair nonresident allocation...
