I have never measured a mulie, only whitetail, so I dont know. Is there somewhere I can go print a diagram of the different measurements? It is long, thats my best 4 point shed to date.

I would poke around the Boone n Crockett site, Pope n Young site or the North American Shed Hunters Club site to see if they have instructions.

deershed,

I have never scored a mulie shed, or looked into scoring one, but I think a 4x4 is considered typical and all other points non. Not sure if you measure the brow tine. I am sure someone on here can help clear it up.

Scoring a mule deer is much the same as a whitetail. There is however one more circumference measurement that you take around the first tine, pretty much at the point where the first tine forks (just below the fork). Check the boon and crocket website for instruction. It's easy and very helpfull!!

Great sheds!! by the way! Keep grabb'n em!!

I asked about scoring awhile back. Look towards the bottom of the first page under scoring. There's a couple links there. Sorry but I haven't figured out how to post links.
