2 way radio info. needed

I think I payed around 180.00 for the rino 120. Supposedly the range is 2 miles with the frs channels and 5 with the gmrs channels. Like all radios the manufacturers fib on this part at least on the realistic range in a forested area with hills. Definitely glad I have the unit and would buy again if it was lost lol!

Hey FresnoHunter, where/what kind did you get the topo maps to download? I haven't even done that yet and I love the one I have.

Youngblood I bought the MapSource Topo USA, I believe it was about 90.00. It is amazing how much info you can download onto the RINO 120. Some other topo software out there is superior but not compatable with the Garmin products. At any rate it does what I want it to do and I am happy with it.
