What happens if you get the lifetime license and then leave the state? Are you still ok? I may move to NV or AZ one of these days...

Lifetime means LIFETIME. You can come back and hunt whenever you like, no matter where you live. I now have lifetime licenses in both of my "home" states, CA and NC. I only get to hunt a few days a year in NC, but if I had to pay non-resident fees each year, I'd be kicking out about $125/yr to go home to hunt. Won't take long to break even on that one.

It'll take a little longer to break even on the CA license, but I still think it's a pretty good deal... especially with this pig tag fiasco going on.
